Girl group Twice wrapped up its six-month-long world tour with two encore concerts in Los Angeles on May 14 and 15.

After the girl group concluded its concerts in the United States in February, its agency JYP Entertainment announced in March that Twice will hold an encore concert on May 14 at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. But after the May 14 concert sold out in a day, the agency announced it would hold yet another concert.

During the two encore concerts, Twice met with some 44,000 fans.

"I didn't think that we could be back in Los Angeles so soon, but you guys have made it possible," said member Nayeon of Twice during one of the concerts. "I think today will be one of my most memorable moments. Thank you." Member Daehyun said, "It was such happy times. Life brings us tears, laughter and memories. Tears dry and laughter fades but memories last forever. I will cherish today's happy memories forever."

The encore performances officially conclude the group's "Twice 4th World Tour 'Ⅲ'" which began in December last year at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Songpa District, southern Seoul. The group held nine concerts in five U.S. cities — Los Angeles, Oakland, Fort Worth, Atlanta and New York, and five concerts in Seoul and Tokyo.

Twice debuted with the EP “The Story Begins” (2015) with the lead song “Like Ooh-Ahh.” The group became widely popular with the song “Cheer Up” (2016) and has since released hits like “TT” (2016), “Feel Special” (2019) and “Alcohol-Free” (2021). The group has nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.
