epa09945785 Walter Orthmann, 100 years old, works at the RenauxView company headquarters in Brusque, Santa Catarina state, Brazil, 12 May 2022 (issued 13 May 2022). Orthmann was just 15 years old when he started working as a shipping assistant at Industrias Renaux S.A, a textile company in the state of Santa Catarina, now known as RenauxView. After winning the Guinness record for the longest professional career in the same company, 84 years and 9 days, as verified on 06 January 2022, Orthmann says that one of the keys to his job longevity is being attentive to new developments and adapting to them.
