epa09944731 A groom walks a stray horse, which was named 'Buddy', at Lviv's hippodrome in the Western Ukrainian city of Lviv, 13 March 2022. Buddy was found by volunteers on a street in Kramatorsk, in the Donetsk area amid the Russian invasion. The hippodrome has neither information about the horse's owner nor of their previous fate. The horse was brought and accomodated at Lviv's hippodrome where they are now trying to find a new home for Buddy in Ukraine or abroad. Russian troops entered Ukraine on 24 February resulting in fighting and destruction in the country and triggering a series of severe economic sanctions on Russia by Western countries. EPA/MYKOLA TYS
