K-pop boy band Blitzers decided to celebrate its one-year debut anniversary with a good deed.
According to its agency Wuzo Entertainment, Blitzers donated 5.12 million won ($4,000) through Naver’s donation platform Happy Bean on Wednesday under its fandom name, Blee.
“May 12 is the boy band’s one-year anniversary, therefore the boys decided to donate a total of 5.12 million won,” the label said. The donation was made to Forest For Life, a non-profit organization, to help forests in Korea.
Meanwhile, Blitzers will hold a one-year anniversary showcase at 8 p.m. on Thursday. The seven-member boy band debuted last May with the EP "CHECK-IN." The seven members are Jinhwa, Go-u, Juhan, Sya, Chris, Lutan and Wooju.
