LG Group holds strategic meeting for the first time in 3 yrs amid uncertainties

South Korea’s second largest business conglomerate LG Group will hold a group-wide strategic meeting for the first time in three years. The meeting, presided over by Chairman Koo Kang-mo, will focus on countermeasures to uncertainties at home and abroad, including Russia’s war in Ukraine, supply chain disruptions, soaring prices in raw materials, and rising interest rates.

The conglomerate said on Monday that it would hold a strategic meeting that involves all of its key companies LG Electronics, LG Display, LG Chem, and LG Energy Solution. The CEOs will brief performance for the first half and share future directions for essential businesses, including organic light-emitting diode (OLED) and lithium-ion batteries.

Previously, the company held two group-wide meetings every year, with one in the first half and the other in the second half.
