Meritz Securities’ recorded its highest ever operating profit and net profit last year. Operating profit rose 14.6% to 949.8 billion won ($788 million) last year and net profit 38.5% on year to 782.9 billion won. Pre-tax profit was also more than 1 trillion won for the first time due to its competitiveness in all business sectors including corporate finance, sales, trading, and retail. Mirae Asset Securities also achieved its highest ever operating profit of 1.5 trillion won last year thanks to growth in all its business sectors.
