Reality entertainment program “Seoul Check-in” starring Lee Hyo-ri will be available for streaming on Tving from Saturday.
Popular producer Kim Tae-ho is behind the show, which will center around Lee’s new life in Seoul.
Lee previously worked on JTBC reality entertainment show “Hyori’s Homestay” which was about her life on Jeju Island.
Kim said in a statement that he was inspired to create “Seoul Check-in” two years ago when he saw Lee preparing to go to Seoul from Jeju for work.
“[Before going to Jeju] Lee would think about where to sleep, who to meet and which new hotspots in Seoul to visit,” said Kim.
Lee has worked with Kim for episodes of the MBC variety show “Hangout with Yoo,” which she appeared on as a member of the program’s co-ed project group Ssak3. Other members of the group were Rain and Yoo Jae-suk.
Kim left MBC after his contract with the broadcaster officially ended on Monday. Kim has produced hit shows such as “Infinite Challenge” and “Hangout with Yoo” for MBC.
