FNC Entertainment Japan to launch new girl group called Prikil

Five winners of audition show “Who is Princess? (Girls Group Debut Survival Program)” will debut as a girl group named Prikil, K-pop agency FNC Entertainment announced on Monday.
“Who is Princess?” was an idol audition program hosted by FNC Entertainment Japan and aired on Japanese TV channel NTV. It started in October of last year and aired its final episode on Jan. 23. It was streamed in over 220 regions around the globe.
The last episode determined the five finalists of the show: Rinko, Uta, Nana, Rin and Yukino. All members are middle school students aged between 13 and 15.
The group name is a portmanteau of “princess” and “kill.” Currently preparing for its debut, Prikil will be the first girl group launched by FNC Entertainment Japan.
