Singer-songwriter Lee Jin-ah is scheduled to release a single titled “Rum Pum Pum” on Jan. 28, her agency Antenna Music said Thursday.
The song marks Lee’s return to the music industry after a year-and-four-month hiatus since her last EP “Candy Pianist.”
Lee has collaborated with a choir for her latest single. In the teaser video released on Antenna’s social media, Lee is sitting in front of a piano while another singer-songwriter Juk Jae practices guitar. Other performers and choir members are seemingly immersed in tuning their instruments or voices.
“Lee personally visited her alma mater Seoul Institute of the Arts to participate and recruited choir members,” according to a spokesperson for the agency. “She is planning to warm up the cold winter with her music which contains her sincerity and emotions."
Lee climbed made it to the final three on SBS audition show “K-pop Star 4” (2014) and signed with Antenna Music. Her representative songs include “I’m Full” (2016), "Random” (2017), “Run” (2018) and “Yum Yum Yum” (2018).
