The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan has called on Britain's government to create a temporary visa scheme for construction workers to alleviate the impact of Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic on the building industry. According to a statement, The Mayor of London is proposing that ministers create a 'Coronavirus Recovery Visa' -- of at least 12 months to work in the UK -- to help sectors that are 'struggling with shortages of workers, including construction.'
