Max Changmin of boy band TVXQ topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 14 regions with his second solo EP “Devil,” his agency SM Entertainment said Friday.

The EP topped the chart in Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Singapore, Turkey, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, Columbia, Vietnam, the Republic of Lithuania, Taiwan and Malaysia.

“Devil” was released on Thursday after a hiatus of almost two years. During the online press conference on the day of the EP’s release, Max Changmin said that the overall theme was “cool and sexy.”

“Devil” consists of six songs including the title track: “Devil,” “Maniac,” “Fever,” “Alien,” “Dirty Dancing” and “Airplane Mode.”

Max Changmin will perform “Devil” for the first time on KBS’s weekly TV music show “Music Bank” (1998-) at 5 p.m. today.

Max Changmin debuted as a member of TVXQ in 2003. The band is well known for hits “Hug” (2004), “Mirotic” (2008) and “Keep Your Head Down” (2011). TVXQ started as a five-member band but since 2010 has continued as a duo act with Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho.
