Choi Jun-hee, daughter of late actor Choi Jin-sil, to debut as an author

Choi Jun-hee will make her debut as an author, according to her publishing house Monday.

“We would like to introduce to everyone our new author, Choi Jun-hee,” wrote Choi’s publishing house, Authors’ Library, on its official social media page.

“Though it may be hard, we will help Choi become an established author.”

Choi also announced her debut herself through her Instagram account.

Choi is one of two children of the late famous Korean actor Choi Jin-sil. Choi Jin-sil committed suicide in 2008.

Before her death, Choi starred in successful films “My Love, My Bride” (1990) and “How to Top My Wife” (1994), and drama series “Jealousy" (1992), “My Rosy Life” (2005) and “Bad Woman, Good Woman" (2007).

Choi Jun-hee has mentioned numerous times through her Instagram account that she does not wish to follow her mother's footsteps and become an actor.

Choi Jun-hee's brother, Choi Hwan-hee, debuted as a rapper under the stage name Z.flat in 2020.
