LG Elec joins IBM Quantum Network to explore quantum applications

LG Electronics joined the IBM Quantum Network for quantum computing technology development.

Quantum computing technology, which can be used in diverse industries like automobile, chemistry, and finance, is considered future key technology, and LG Electronics can leverage technologies and infras from the IBM Quantum Network, created by IBM and joined by 170 partners and members from business, research center, and academia circles, to expedite the development of future technologies – AI, connected car, big data, digital transformation, IoT and robot – as well as develop quantum computing applications.
