After sweeping reshuffle in the C-suite in key chip, mobile, and consumer appliance division, Samsung Electronics implemented promotion of 198 employees to executive positions, bringing on 14 employees in their 30s and 40s to management under its new horizontal HR system that abolished minimum working years for promotion. The company has also added more females and foreigners to promote diversity.
