Cho Hyun-sang, vice chairman of South Korea’s textile and chemical conglomerate Hyosung Group, has become an executive board member of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC), an independent international business association acting as advisor to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Cho, the second largest shareholder of Hyosung’s holding company, was named the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader in 2007 for his active role in the global business circle.
