Hyundai Mobis Co. will unveil self-parking and communicative concept cars at the Jan. 5-8 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 held in Las Vegas.

The auto parts supplier to Hyundai Motor Group is making its trip to the Las Vegas Convention Center next month after virtual shows over the last two years.

The South Korean auto parts maker will arrange immersive experience through metaverse dubbed M.Vision Town. Visitors to the exhibition booth of Hyundai Mobis will be able to experience its various future mobility technologies there by creating their characters at a kiosk.

In the metaverse, Hyundai Mobis will unveil its two urban shared mobility concept cars M.Vision POP and M.Vision 2GO, capable of driving sideways like a crab by rotating all four wheels through 180 degrees, which makes it easier to avoid obstacles and park the car along or parallel to the side of the road.

The M.Vision, equipped with the communication lamps, can communicate with other drivers and pedestrians by displaying messages with lights.

Visitors will be able to see the two concept vehicles rotate and drive from side to side at the physical booth as well. This would be the first time Hyundai Mobis showcases its two global premiere models at the same time.
