Samsung family holds quiet family memorial for late chief Lee Kun-hee

A memorial service marking the first anniversary of the death of Samsung Group chief Lee Kun-hee was held on Monday. The service was held privately by his bereaved family members including his wife Hong Ra-hee, former director of the Leeum Museum of Art, and three children – Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Jay Y. Lee, Hotel Shilla CEO Lee Bu-jin, Samsung Foundation head Lee Seo-hyun, and son-in-law Kim Jae-yeol. Samsung Group set up a bust sculpture of Lee at Samsung Human Resources Development Institute in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, to commemorate his hard work and contribution for the group.
