LG Energy Solution partners with Yonsei University to nurture talents in battery field

Korea’s top battery maker LG Energy Solution has joined hands with one of the country’s prestigious universities Yonsei University to nurture talented professionals in battery sector to make up for labor shortage in the bourgeoning industry. The company said Wednesday that the two signed an agreement on a master’s and doctoral degree interdisciplinary program on secondary batteries. Successful applicants will be offered incentives like full scholarship, living expenses, and job at LG Energy Solution. The company also opened a battery-smart factory major in September in partnership with Korea University in an aggressive move to allure talents into the rising field.
