Korean defense firms pitch aerospace, defense systems at ADEX 2021

South Korean defense and transportation companies are showing off their latest innovations in aerospace and defense with fighter jets, drones and other technology at the Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition 2021 (ADEX 2021) running on Oct. 19-23 at Seoul Airport in Seoul. Hanwha introduces its satellite propulsion system, and the Korea Aerospace Industries has unveiled its urban air mobility (UAM) for manned transportation and unmanned cargo delivery. On the sidelines of the expo, Hyundai Heavy Industries and KAI signed a MoU for the South Korean Navy’s CVX aircraft carrier project to join forces to develop the country’s first light aircraft carrier.
