BTS song 'Friends' to be part of 'Eternals' soundtrack

K-pop phenomenon BTS’s song “Friends” (2020) will be part of the original soundtrack for the upcoming Marvel film “Eternals,” according to Walt Disney Company Korea on Tuesday.
“Friends” is a track from the boy band’s fourth full-length album “Map of the Soul: 7” (2020). The song was produced by member Jimin with lyrics about friendship.
The song will be featured in a scene during the film, said Walt Disney Company Korea.
The original soundtrack of “Eternals” will also include works by artists Carl Perkins, Skeeter Davis, Merle Haggard, Pink Floyd, Lizzo and more.
“Eternals,” set to hit local theaters next month, is directed by Oscar-winning “Nomadland” (2020) director Chloé Zhao and features actors Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan and Ma Dong-seok.
