Netflix Korea's new thriller series 'Somebody' is under production

Netflix Korea announced Thursday its latest thriller series “Somebody,” centering around a social networking app of the same name, is under production starring actors Kim Young-kwang and Kang Hae-lim.
When a murder is linked to the app, its developer Seom (played by Kang) and her friends are linked to a mysterious character named Yoon-oh (played by Kim).
Director Jung Ji-woo behind films “Happy End” (1999), “Eungyo” (2012), “4th Place” (2016) and “Tune in for Love” (2019) will take the helm of the series.
Writer Han Ji-wan behind KBS drama series “The Ghost Detective” (2018) and SBS drama series “Wanted” (2016) will script the story.
The release date has not been set.
