Making of Koranic calligraphy to be showcased at Dubai Expo 2020
epa09478085 Pakistani artist Shahid Rassam works on Koranic calligraphy on canvas with aluminium and gold-plated words to be showcased at the Dubai Expo 2020, in Karachi, Pakistan, 20 September 2021. The project is the first of its kind, cast on canvas, with aluminium and gold-plated script. Traditionally, the Quran is inscribed on cloth, paper or leather.
