Hyundai, Kia's combined market share reaches at 10.1% in Europe in Aug

Combined market share of South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Co. and sister Kia Corp. in Europe came at 10.1% in August after adding 1.8%p from a year earlier, exceeding 10% for the first time since their advances into the market. Hyundai Motor’s sales rose 2.2% to 38,143 units last month in Europe, while Kia sold 34,917 units, down 2.8% on year. Total vehicle sales in the European market contracted 18.1% to 724,710 units during the period.
