Naver's cloud computing unit aims for No. 3 in Asia/Pacific by 2023

Korean internet giant Naver Corp. aims to groom cloud computing solutions as No. 2 in Korea and No. 3 in Asia/Pacific market by investing 80% of Naver Cloud’s annual sales in technology development until 2023. Naver Cloud, which began full operation in 2017, has grown to offer 189 products in 18 categories now, versus 22 products available 4 years ago, with this year’s sales estimated at 400 billion won ($339 million). Naver targets to generate 20% of its total sales from cloud business like Amazon, said Kim Tae-chang, Naver Cloud's Chief of Cloud Business.
