“One Ordinary Day,” a drama series starring actors Cha Seung-won and Kim Soo-hyun, will be exclusively available on local streaming platform Coupang Play sometime in November.
The eight-part series revolves around two men entangled in a murder case.
Kim portrays a college student suddenly targeted as the primary suspect of the crime, and Cha as a lawyer, the sole person who believes that he is innocent.
Producer Lee Myung-woo behind SBS drama series “Punch” (2014) and “The Fiery Priest” (2019) will take the helm of the series which is a remake of a 2008 British drama series “Criminal Justice.”
“It will be a series which directly challenges the irony of the criminal justice system,” the production staff said in a statement. “It’s a must-see series in an era where people put their comfort and interest first rather than rightness or justice.”
The series is the first original content from Coupang Play set for release.
