Shinhan Card is rolling out credit and debit cards for fans of K-pop megaband BTS and other boy bands on entertainment company HYBE's labels.
Weverse Company, a subsidiary of entertainment company HYBE, and Shinhan Card said Tuesday that they have partnered to launch a private label credit card (PLCC) dubbed the Weverse Card.
The cards will have pictures of boy bands BTS, Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together and Enhypen on the front and offer benefits for Weverse users. Weverse is the online fan community platform developed by HYBE. The card comes in both credit and debit cards.
Four percent of money spent on the Weverse Shop will be paid back in Weverse cash for those who use the credit card, and 2 percent for debit cards. Up to 10 percent will be paid for expenditures at affiliated franchises like Paris Baguette or convenience store chain GS25 for credit cards, and up to 5 percent for debit cards.
An additional card can be ordered as a keepsake. Orders can be made through the Weverse Shop mobile app.
