Hanwha Q Cells licenses out patented solar cell technology to Germany

Hanwha Q Cells Corp. has signed a deal to license out its patented photovoltaic solar cell technology for production and sales of high-quality solar cells and modules with a German solar power module company, adding symbolic credential to the Hanwha company mired in patent lawsuits against rivalry names in the industry. The Korean company mass produces high-efficiency, high-quality solar cells and modules with Q.antum Duo Z technology based on its patented passivated emitter rear cell technology.
