Hyundai Motor chief assures robots assist human work as he shows off Spot to lawmakers

Hyundai Motor’s aggressive investment to foster mobility and robotics technologies is to upgrade human life and not to replace or threaten human jobs, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Euisun said at the National Assembly Mobility Forum’s seminar on Monday where he showed off robotic dog Spot, the darling of Boston Dynamics which joined the Hyundai Motor family and where Chung himself put up own money for a 20 percent stake.
