LG Uplus has decided to pay out its first-ever interim cash dividends of total 87.1 billion won ($76.2 million) as part of its shareholder friendly measures that include a buyback of 100 billion won worth shares announced in June. LG Uplus delivered an operating profit of 268.4 billion won in the second quarter, losing 2.6% on quarter, with sales down 2.1% to 3.35 trillion won. Against the previous year, operating profit gained 12% and sales added 2.2%.
