South Koreans went into a five-day mourning for mountaineer Kim Hong-bin, who went missing in mid-July in the Himalayas after becoming the world's first person with a disability to ascend all 14 eight-thousanders in the Himalayas. The 56-year-old known as the "fingerless" climber after losing all his fingers to frostbite in 1991 while climbing Denali, the tallest mountain in North America, has been posthumously presented the highest Blue Dragon Order of Sports Merit.
