Brother-and-sister duo AKMU released the music video for its song “Tictoc Tictoc Tictoc” on its official social media accounts on Friday.
The track is a collaboration with rapper Beenzino from the duo’s recent album “Next Episode,” which was released on Monday. The song encourages listeners to live according to their own convictions.
AKMU’s agency YG Entertainment described “Next Episode” as a “collaboration album” on its official website, as all seven tracks feature a different artist. The theme of the album is “Beyond Freedom,” meaning a type of freedom that comes from within, not from the outside.
Other artists who feature on AKMU's latest album include singers Lee Sun-hee, Zion.T, Choi Jung-hoon of indie rock band Jannabi, Crush and Sam Kim.
The lead track of the album, “Nakka,” featuring singer IU, hit No. 1 on local music streaming sites including Bugs Music after its release earlier this week.
