Hanwha Group’s space project team “Space Hub” and its academic partner Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) will jointly build a space technology R&D center, which would be the largest of its kind in Korea once completed, with investment of 10 billion won ($8.8 million) from Hanwha Group. Space Hub, launched in March, has chosen inter-satellite link (ISL) data communication technology as its first project.
