These temporary flights “were scheduled to transport Korean residents and students living in [the Philippines],” said the low-cost carrier in a statement on Friday.

Tickets can be purchased on the company’s website or through a mobile app.

Passengers with body temperatures above 37.5 degrees Celsius won’t be allowed on planes. All passengers will have to wear masks.

“As Covid-19 continues, there has been demand to travel to or from [Korea and the Philippines],” said Jeju Air in a statement. The company “plans to operate temporary flights when there is demand following consultations with the authorities.”
