Incheon signed an agreement to provide knowhow on smart city development overseas.
Incheon Smart City, which is fully owned by the Incheon city government, signed an agreement last month with the Canada-based urban development investment company Kinesis Investment to cooperate in an AIDEN Smart Healthcare City Project.
AIDEN is an acronym for artificial intelligence digital ecosystem network. AIDEN Smart Healthcare City will specialize in advanced technology healthcare that uses renewable energy for the sake of the environment.
“[The MOU] will create opportunities to set up new smart concept architecture, enhance and deploy an efficient and unique IoT and IomT network (Internet of Medical Things,” Kinesis Investment said in a statement. “This will enhance quality of life whilst facilitating the development and increasing the productivity and safety of these unique advanced solutions.”
Kinesis Investment added that the goal is to create an exceptional and viable healthcare hub, most likely in Southeast Asia.
The two countries that are showing the most interest are said to be Malaysia and Indonesia

The signing ceremony, which was also attended by AIDEN CEO and Kinesis Investment Asia Vice President Shad AM Serroune, was held online due to Covid-19.
Government officials from Indonesia, Malaysia as well as Laos watched the ceremony online, according to Kinesis Investment.
