South Korea reported 688 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, registering a daily caseload above 600 for the first time since Feb. 18. The number is the highest in 89 days since the 674 recorded on Jan. 8. Long lines formed outside a temporary screening center in front of Seoul Station as a fourth wave loomed closer.
