South Korea issued emergency fine dust reduction measures Thursday for the greater Seoul area. The measures, enforced for the first time this year, are set to last from 6 am to 9 pm. Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at the “bad” level in the greater Seoul area, Chungcheong Province and North Jeolla Province as high pressure continues to dominate the weather pattern. In particular, the fine dust level was classified as “very bad” in the greater Seoul area earlier Thursday.
