Joseph I of Spain found refuge in the town of Bordentown, USA, after his younger brother Napoleon Bonaparte was defeated at the Battle of Waterloo. On a hill overlooking the Delaware River, Joseph I built an enormous mansion, which later came to house the largest library in the USA at the time.
