Motional, a joint venture between South Korea’s Hyundai Motor and U.S. autonomous tech firm Aptiv, has achieved Level 4 autonomous driving technology after successfully testing self-driving test on public roads with empty driver’s seat in Las Vegas. For the testing, held this month, multiple self-driving vehicles navigated intersections, unprotected turns, and interactions with others including pedestrians and cyclists, it said.
