Prince Ernst August of Hanover is suing his son, Hereditary Prince Ernst-August of Hanover, for the return of ownership of Marienburg Castle and other properties, the Hanover Regional Court said on 16 February 2021. The lawsuit, which has now been served, also demands the return of the Calenberg estate in the Pattensen-Schulenburg municipality as well as the Princely House of Herrenhausen in Hanover to his father.
