Star couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin both win awards for "Crash Landing on You" series

Both take home prizes at the 2020 APAN Star Awards

Screen and real-life couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin collected side-by-side acting awards for their work on “Crash Landing on You,” the TVN miniseries sensation of 2020.

Hyun took home the prize for Best Drama Star at the 2020 APAN Star Awards in a ceremony held by the Korea Entertainment Management Association on Jan. 23 in Seoul. Son was also selected for second-place KT Seezn Star Award honors.

In his acceptance speech, Hyun shared a special message of thanks to Son, his real-life girlfriend and co-star in the series.

“I’d like to thank Ye-jin, whose [character] Yoon Se-ri was the perfect partner for [Hyun’s character] Jung-hyuk,” he said.

“It feels like Ye-jin’s great work with the character of Yoon Se-ri is what really allowed Ri Jung-hyuk to shine,” he added.
