Global K-pop fans will be able to enjoy a variety of fun activities on a mobile fan community platform Universe upon the global launch due next Monday, South Korea’s gaming giant NCSoft announced Thursday.

The Universe is an all-in-one platform which will allow K-pop fans to enjoy various activities by interacting with not only other users but also their favorite artists. Original content like shows, concerts and other activities will also be hosted on the app.

Pre-registration that kicked off in November last year has already exceeded 4 million as of Thursday. About 80 percent of all was made from outside Korea, in 187 countries including the U.S., Japan, Taiwan and Indonesia.

Various rewards are offered to pre-registered users – a coupon for opportunities to join artists’ upcoming events, costumes for artists’ characters in content of Universe, and stamps to get welcome goods for fun activities.

Meanwhile, the mobile platform will host its first online K-pop concert UNI-KON on Feb. 14. Fourteen K-pop artists including IZ*ONE, MONSTA X, The Boys, Kang Daniel, AB6IX, ASTRO, Cosmic Girls and (G)I-DLE are in the lineup.

NCSoft plans to apply various technologies like augmented reality and mixed reality to give more realistic concert experience to the viewers.
