epa08940065 Danhotel is being rebuilt so that people from Fehmarn can move in, this includes people who will supervise the construction of the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel, which is under construction at Roedbyhavn, Denmark, 15 January 2021. At 18 kilometers, the Fehmarn tunnel will be the world's longest immersed tunnel for trains and cars. It is expected that the connection will be ready for opening in 2029.
