LG Electronics’ new GX OLED 4k TV made the Times’ 100 Best Inventions of 2020, joining the exclusive list for the second year. The U.S. magazine said the self-lit panel created brighter colors and deeper contrasts and delivered sharper 4K detail compared with standard LED backlight. The 2 cm-thin panel allows the TV to sit flat against the wall and boasts many features including compatibility with Google Assistant and Alexa that gives users full control of Internet of Things, the magazine said.
