epa06603839 An Indian worker sorts out tomatoes near a farm, at Aamon village in Seahore district, about 125km from Bhopal, India, 14 March 2018. According to the local farmers, they are getting very low rates of about two Indian Rupee (0.031 US dollar) per kilogram for their tomato production, due to that they are not even able to recover their input costs. They have no alternative other than disposing off the tomato or feeding it to the cattle. There has been a surge in production of tomato in the region whereas the demand is comparatively at a very low level. EPA/SANJEEV GUPTA
