According to a statement by the Myanmar State Counselor Office Information Committee, a group of eleven law enforcement officials, one government staff, eleven civilians and about 80 militants from the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) terrorist group were killed during fighting between 25 to 27 August 2017 in Myanmar after ARSA fighters attacked police outposts and an army base in the western state of Rakhine.
