It traces its origins back to the founding in 1997 of the EUPPFL (Association of European Union Premier Professional Football Leagues). Originally composed by 12 members, nowadays comprises 28 Members and Associate Members across Europe. With strategic vision and clear notion of responsibility, the EPFL has generated new internal and external dynamics and synergies, and engaged itself in all key issues facing professional football and by acting as the common voice of Professional Football Leagues in Europe on all matters of common interest.
