epa03028990 The little church in the countryside of Vittuone, in the province of Milan, Italy, near which, leaning against a wall, the coffin of US-born Italian television host Mike Bongiorno (1924-2009) was found, 08 December 2011. Officials have yet to certify the corpse as belonging to Bongiorno. But his family members, who in recent months have launched several appeals for the return of his remains, welcomed the news. 'We are now feeling decisively better, we are very happy that the body has been found, it was the only thing that really interested us,' Bongiorno's son Michele told the ANSA news agency. In January, Bongiorno's tomb was broken into and his coffin went missing. Bongiorno, who had been a well-known quiz show host for more than 50 years, died in 2009 at the age of 85.
