KT&G rolls out pricey cigarettes

KT & G, the country's largest tobacco producer, launches new high-end cigarette Bohem Cigar Master on Wednesday, the company said Monday.

The Bohem Cigar Master is under the company's Bohem Cigar line, which is the nation's first-ever cigar leaf-containing cigarette brand. Priced at 5,000 won ($4), it is the most expensive product from the tobacco company except for the limited editions it has presented so far.

The product maximizes the original taste and body of a cigar by using a rolling paper which contains cigar leaf and high-quality Cuban cigar leaves, a KT & G official said. The product contains 6 milligrams of tar and 0.6 milligrams of nicotine.

KT & G also introduces Bohem Cigar Master Special Edition, which are up-scale limited versions of the Bohem Cigar Master, only 50,000 of which will be distributed nationwide. The special edition costs 10,000 won and comes hand-packaged in a classical cigar box.
