ALBA SYNCHROTRON LIGHT FACILITY

The main part of the installation is integrated by one linear accelerator and another two circular accelerators, where the electrons nearly reach the light speed to transform in the synchrotron light. This process aims the human sight of the atoms and proteines, between other particles invisible for humans. The inauguration of the ALBA synchrotron light source will count with the attendance of the Spanish Prime Minister, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero.
