Factory tour at the Rheinmetall Silberhuette facility

Rheinmetall?s Silberhuette site, with more than 230 years of industrial history, is the largest pyrotechnics facility within the Weapons and Ammunition division, employing around 300 people. It manufactures smoke grenades, signal and illumination devices, and decoy munitions for military protection systems. The site is currently executing major framework contracts, including orders from the German Armed Forces worth up to 100 million euros and a 46 million euro contract from the UK Ministry of Defence.
